It has been confirmed that Vancouver will host 7 World Cup games.

In 2026 it will be the first time in the history of the World Cup that the games will be divided between 3 different countries – Canada, the United States and Mexico.

There will be 104 games, from 48 teams played in 16 host cities: 78 in the United States, and of the three it will be the country that will have the most games, 13 in Canada and 13 in Mexico.

Canada has already hosted other FIFA events, in 2007 with the U20 World Cup and in 2015 with the Women's World Cup.

All seven games that took place in Vancouver took place at BC Place, in the city's downtown area.

The first World Cup game in Canada will take place in Toronto on June 12, 2026. The first game in Vancouver will take place on June 13, 2026.
